SSH - SGH -SSI

The Swiss Society of Hydrogeology (SGH) is the professional association of scientists, practitioners and public authority members working in the field of hydrogeology. The SGH is a member of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (scnat) and the Forum Hydrology of Switzerland. It represents Switzerland at the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and forms the national committee. The SGH organizes meetings for the further education of its members and for the promotion of personal contacts. It forms and leads working groups that deal with current hydrogeological issues. It expresses itself within the framework of hearings and consultations on guidelines and laws that affect groundwater or the work as a hydrogeologist.

In addition to the advisory board, the connection to the SGH takes place through the involvement of practice partners and participation in working groups that deal with current hydrogeological issues.
